Founder and President of American Career Executives® (ACE), Linda Baugh, discovered her own career passion and turned it into a business that has assisted more than 6,000 professionals, executives and college graduates to achieve career success since 1985. "What is success?" Linda asks. "It is not just our 91% placement ratio," she says, "it is finding the RIGHT job, finding a job sooner so you save time and money, and negotiating for the money, vacation time, and position that you are worthy of.

We even help some clients launch successful consulting businesses, buy businesses, or find business partners to achieve their personal and financial goals. That is true success, and it's our privilege and passion to help people get what they deserve in life."

Linda is a Licensed Employment Agent and holds an influential position on the State of Arizona's Employment Agency Advisory Council, the group that qualifies employment professionals for licensure in the State of Arizona. She has served on the Board of the Arizona Career Development Association and is a Past President of the local chapter of the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation.

Her favorite story to share with those in career transition is of her own mid-life career change. In 1985 she left her prestigious and lucrative position as Vice President of an executive search firm in Scottsdale, Arizona and took a risk to establish a company to serve candidates exclusively. While in executive search, she specialized in placing engineers and executives in high tech companies nationwide. ACE's focus is on professionals and executives in all industries. "The big shift for me was to serve all industries in the marketplace," Baugh comments, "our placements since 1985 have been in virtually every industry: technology, insurance, non-profit, manufacturing, public relations, healthcare, automotive, government, hospitality, travel/tourism, construction, real estate, utilities, media, consulting; just name it, we've probably helped someone get a job there!"

While serving clients and being active in the business community, Linda and ACE have earned a reputation as the top employment service for professionals, executives and college graduates. In 2004, ACE was honored by the Better Business Bureau of Central/Northern Arizona as one of three Finalists for the annual Business Ethics Award.

As a frequently published and quoted expert in the field of Career Management, Executive Search, and Job Placement, her articles have appeared in The Wall Street Journal publications; more than a dozen of her articles have appeared in On The Camelback Corridor News, and she is quoted regularly (more than 35 times) in the Arizona Republic and the Republic's CareerBuilder's "Ask the Expert" section. She is co-author of the 2004 book, Coaching For The New Century

She is a keynote speaker at colleges, universities, and professional associations including Arizona State University (ASU), ASU West, Grand Canyon University, the University of Phoenix and the prestigious Thunderbird-Garvin School of International Management. Her speeches and presentations to professional groups include AICHE (American Institute for Chemical Engineering), RIMS (Risk and Insurance Managers Association), BPW (Midtowners Business and Professional Women), PRSA (Public Relations Society of America), Rotary Clubs, Arizona Right of Way Association, Life Insurance Company Office Managers Association, AMA (American Marketing Association, ASU Student Chapter), Institute of Real Estate Management, and the National Association of Sales Professionals, to name a few.

Why is ACE so successful in helping clients find the right career opportunities? Baugh states firmly, "High tech will not replace high touch in getting hired. It is through relationships, networking and a proven system that people get the jobs they want. Our clients experience more than a 'transaction,' they achieve results AND obtain a life long tool kit for achieving career satisfaction and financial rewards." ACE clients also benefit from a long-term relationship with the company to guide them through many career changes. Recently, a client obtained his fourth new job with ACE's help since 1998.

Linda holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Speech Communication with a Minor in English from California State University, Stanislaus and completed her Masters in Public Administration graduate coursework at the University of San Francisco. Her memberships include Career Masters Institute, American Counseling Association, Professional Résumé Writers and Research Association, Parachute Associates, American Association of Career Professionals International, and the International Association of Career Management Professionals.
