This esteemed Award, sponsored by Wells Fargo, is designed "to promote not only the importance of ethical business practices, but the willingness and efforts made by outstanding businesses to ensure that [the] marketplace remains fair and honorable," and is given to those companies that conduct their business practices in an exemplary ethical manner. Rick DeBruhl, KPNX-TV12 News Anchor, served as Master of Ceremonies, and University of Arizona Pack 10 Basketball Coach Lute Olson delivered the keynote address. Included in the program were videos highlighting the winners and their ethical approaches to business.

"It feels fabulous to be recognized for business ethics again this year!" remarked an understandably elated LINDA J. BAUGH, ACE founder and president. "Our reward is not only this award, but the satisfaction of helping our wonderful clients find new career opportunities. It is also having the respect and friendship of our vendors and other businesses with which we have formed mutually supportive strategic alliances over 20 years in business."

Hundreds of companies were nominated by other local businesses for this highly revered award. To be considered, the nominees had to meet strict guidelines: (1) must to have been in business for at least three years, (2) must not have an unsatisfactory record with the BBB, and finally, (3) must have a physical presence in the BBB of Central/Northern Arizona's service area. Upon acceptance, the nominees then had to make application to the BBB, and a panel of judges (consisting of 11 local businesspeople) chose 15 Finalists; the 5 Winners were announced and all Finalists recognized at the Biltmore.

ACE is celebrating its 20th year (1985-2005) of providing personalized career and employment services to Arizonans and those relocating to Arizona from all over the United States, Canada, Europe, the Far East, and other parts of the globe.
