ACE® First business to receive International BBB Award for Marketplace Ethics
American Career Executives® (ACE), was honored September 19th at a special awards ceremony held in conjunction with the annual meeting of the International Assembly of Better Business Bureaus at Harrah's Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada, as the runner up (Honorable Mention) in Category IV for businesses with 1-10 employees for the prestigious BBB International Torch Award for Marketplace Ethics.
Before the awards ceremony Sheila Adkins, the Council's Associate Director for Public Affairs from Arlington, VA said, "This is the first time ever that an Arizona company [American Career Executives®] has been selected, first as a semi-finalist and now as finalist, for the BBB International Torch Award for Marketplace Ethics sponsored by the Council of Better Business Bureaus, Incorporated."
American Career Executives® was the Winner of this years’ Better Business Bureau of Central/Northern Arizona's Annual Business Ethics Award in the "1-10 Employees" category which was held at the Arizona Biltmore Resort in Phoenix, Arizona on April 7th. This win qualified American Career Executives® to be entered in the International Assembly of Better Business Bureaus competition for its prestigious Torch Award for Marketplace Ethics.
At the award ceremony on September 19th, Ken Hunter, president and CEO of the Council of Better Business Bureaus, remarked, "The BBB International Torch Award celebrated today 10 years of honoring ethical businesses that adhere to high standards of behavior in good times and bad, do well by doing right, and serve their customers, employees, investors, competitors and the communities in which they do business, with distinction.
