Enhancing your career
The New Year means a clean slate: Your annual opportunity to make changes in your life that will make you happier and more prosperous. Onto your list of resolutions, add promises that will improve your career and open new job prospects.
All working persons should vow to take time to work on their careers, said Linda Baugh, president of the Phoenix office of American Career Executives. “When you look at how many hours people spend and devote to their career, you would think they could consider carving out 10 percent of their time to work on their career and not necessarily on their job,” she said. “You should do something to enhance your career.”
