Feel independent

“Sometimes around noon on Sunday, the person starts to get irritable and uptight, and it’s because they know they have to go to work the next day,” says Linda Baugh, president of American Career Executives. “If you feel that way, then maybe you need to exercise your independence.”

“Think of yourself as an independent contractor and that you are going to do the best job you can because you are doing it for your own pride,” Baugh said. “That just turns so many people around to think of it that way.”
